14 & 15U Vipers Strike Again!

Today was such an exciting day for our Viper family!

Our 14U girls fought hard at their exhibition tournament today bringing home the GOLD medal! We are so proud of this team's consistency and drive so far this season!

Our 15U girls also had a great day at their OVA tournament! They went undefeated all morning, winning their first three games in two sets. Our girls played great, only dropping sets to a tough 14U Hurricanes Blue team in the semis with scores of 21-25, 25-17 and 12-15. Moving into the Bronze medal game the girls had a bit of a slow start against the 14U Niagara Rapids Summit but managed to come back from a score of 18-24 winning 27-25, keeping the parents and coaches on the edge of their seats! The girls then went on to finish the second set with a convincing score of 25-18 securing our BRONZE medal!

We are so proud of all of our girls! Congratulations to the parents, coaches and players! Way to go Vipers!

13U Vipers take Bronze!

We are so proud of our 13U Vipers for working so hard yesterday and coming home with a well earned BRONZE medal! We've always known that these young girls have so much potential so it is very exciting for us to see how far they are coming!

They played amazing finishing second in their pool, beating Niagara Rapids Summit 25-16, 25-15, and only falling to a tough Halton Hurricanes team with impressive scores of 27-29 and 21-25. Moving into the playoffs they beat EVP Red 25-21 and 25-18, but unfortunately fell behind Defensa in the semi-final. However, the Vipers were not done yet! They still had the energy and motivation to bring their A game to the 3rd place final. Our girls came out strong and beat the Hurricanes team they saw in the morning in two straight sets! Way to go Vipers!

Silver for the 15U Vipers!

Our 15U Vipers fought so hard this weekend and were rewarded with a SILVER medal! The team finished 1st in their pool and defeated all the teams they faced that day, but unfortunately met Hamilton Smash again in the final match and fell a little short scoring 22-25 in both sets. The girls just came off of a tough and exciting semi-final game against Brant Tornados beating them in 3 sets with scores of 23-25, 25-19 and 15-5! The girls reached a new record serving percentage of 92.5%, only missing 20 serves all day! Our hard work is definitely paying off and we are so proud of the improvements they have made already this season! Way to go Vipers!

14U Vipers bring home OVA Silver!

Today was another exciting day for our 14U Vipers! The team brought home a SILVER medal and will be moving up to Championship Division for their next OVA tournament in December!

The highlight of the day had to be the huge semifinal win over top-ranked Waterloo Tigers Black, with scores of 29-27 and 25-14! After this game the team continued to fight hard right to the very end of the finals, finishing close behind the Guelph Jr. Gryphons Black team with scores of 20-25 and 22-25.

We are so proud of our athletes for demonstrating resilience, energy and passion throughout the tournament! Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment!

Go Vipers!

Vipers' Generosity!

Victoria, on our 15U team, came up with the idea of donating a gift basket to the Basketeers. The Basketeers are a group of generous volunteers who provide some of the simple necessities and niceties of life to a woman, at a women's shelter, as she embarks on the next chapter of her life. The 15U's all agreed that this was a wonderful organization to support! Everyone on the team made a generous donation to the gift basket that will be delivered to one of the local Hamilton Shelters for Women of Domestic Abuse. What a great way to help someone in need.

Way to go Vipers!
